Real Kids, Real Code

Our clubs are hands-on from day one. No lectures, no textbooks — just kids building games they actually want to play. Every session ends with something they can show off to their friends and family.

What We Do

Build. Create. Problem-Solve.

3D printing, robotics, coding, video editing, VR, IT and console gaming. Our clubs go way beyond just coding — we give kids the tools to explore technology, express creativity, and develop skills that matter.

How Our Clubs Work

Everything parents need to know about joining and paying for coding clubs.

What happens in a typical session?

All clubs include a mix of group activities, free-time (consoles and VR available), and structured coding. The mentors aim for at least 45 minutes of Minecraft/Roblox coding per standard session. Sessions also include team gaming time that builds positive peer and mentor relationships.

As a child-led service, the amount of coding will vary depending on the learner's age and abilities, taking into account any SEND needs. The first half-term of attendance should be viewed as settling into the club, making friends, and learning the basics.

Payment options and pricing

We offer flexible payment options to suit every family:

  • Weekly: From around 20-21 per session, with an initial two-week deposit
  • Monthly subscription: Around 80 per month by card or Direct Debit (includes READYCraft server access)
  • Bulk term payment: Pay for the full term upfront via our booking portal or bank transfer

We accept most major cards, cash, bank transfer, and Tax-Free Childcare payments. Monthly card/DD members also get access to our READYCraft Minecraft server and exclusive discounts.

Tax-Free Childcare and Ofsted registration

All Player Ready locations are registered with Ofsted on the Voluntary Childcare Register, which gives our members' families access to Tax-Free Childcare, Childcare Vouchers, and possible funding via Universal Credit.

With Tax-Free Childcare, for every 80 you add to your government account, the government adds an extra 20 -- a 20% saving on club fees. You then pay Player Ready directly from the portal.

SEND support, AP-Lite, and 1:1 sessions

Our clubs are SEND-friendly, ensuring every child feels included and valued. For learners who need extra support or a quieter environment, we offer AP-Lite sessions: small groups of up to six children with a 3:1 learner-to-mentor ratio.

1:1 sessions are available at 45+VAT per hour, delivered in-person or online. These are child-led, SEND-aware lessons suitable for EOTAS and Alternative Provision.

We cater to SEN, SEMH, EOTAS, Elective Home Education, and alternative provision, especially for children with EHCP plans across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Hampshire.

AQA Unit Award Scheme certification

Player Ready is an AQA Unit Award Scheme Centre (Centre Number: 84612). Club members and AP students can earn nationally recognised Level 0-3 certificates for their coding and digital skills work across Minecraft, Roblox, Unity, Unreal Engine, and 3D Modelling courses.
