If something isn't right, we want to know about it. Here's how to raise a complaint or report a safeguarding concern.

Safeguarding Concerns

The safety and wellbeing of young people is our absolute priority.

If a child is in immediate danger

Call 999 immediately. Do not wait to contact us first.

If you believe a child is at risk but not in immediate danger, contact your local authority's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team, or reach our Designated Safeguarding Lead:

Our Safeguarding Commitment

  • All staff are DBS-checked and safeguarding-trained

Complaints Procedure

We aim to resolve all complaints fairly and promptly.

Raise Your Concern

Contact us by email at customerservice@player-ready.co.uk or by phone on 0117 463 3150. Please include as much detail as possible about your concern.

Acknowledgement

We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and let you know who is handling it.

Investigation

We will investigate your complaint thoroughly and fairly, speaking to all relevant parties. We aim to complete investigations within 10 working days.

Resolution

We will provide you with a written response outlining our findings and any actions taken. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate your complaint to the directors.

Escalation

If you remain dissatisfied after the internal process, you may contact Ofsted (for alternative provision complaints) or seek independent advice. For AP-related concerns, you may also contact the local authority that commissioned the placement.
