Ofsted Registered

Ofsted Registered

Player Ready is registered with Ofsted, the UK's official education and childcare regulator. Here's what that means for you.

What Ofsted Registration Means

Independent assurance of quality and safety.

Inspected & Regulated

As an Ofsted-registered provider, we are subject to regular inspections covering the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and safeguarding.

Safeguarding Standards

Ofsted registration means we meet stringent safeguarding requirements. All staff are DBS-checked, safeguarding-trained and supervised. We have designated safeguarding leads at every venue and robust policies covering child protection, Prevent, and online safety.

Quality Assurance

Our alternative provision and educational services meet national standards. We deliver accredited qualifications through NOCN and AQA, with structured lesson plans and measurable outcomes for every student.

Local Authority Confidence

Ofsted registration gives local authorities, schools and parents confidence that Player Ready meets the standards required for alternative provision placements. We work with over 20 local authorities across England.

Tax-Free Childcare

What Is Tax-Free Childcare?

The UK Government's Tax-Free Childcare scheme allows working parents to get up to £2,000 per child per year towards childcare costs. For every £8 you pay in, the government adds £2 — up to a maximum of £500 per quarter.

Using It at Player Ready

As an Ofsted-registered provider, our coding and gaming clubs may be eligible for payment via Tax-Free Childcare. This means you could save up to 20% on club fees. Contact us to discuss eligibility and how to set up payment from your childcare account.

How to Apply

You can apply for Tax-Free Childcare through the GOV.UK website. Once approved, you can use your childcare account to pay for eligible clubs and activities at Player Ready.
